(ConservativeHub.com) – Former President Donald Trump received criticism online after a video emerged of him seemingly ignoring his grandson, 10, during an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) match. The video that emerged recently has gone viral as Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of the Trump family, can be seen bending down in order to console Joseph, her son, after he appeared to be ignored.
On Saturday March 9, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, her husband, brought their son to the Miami UFC Match. During the match, her father, Donald Trump also made a star appearance. A clip from the event was later shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, of the moment that the former President entered the Kaseya Center.
Donald Trump was excitedly greeted by fans and the UFC president Dana White. After seeing his daughter in the crowd, Trump hugged her and proceeded to shake hands and kiss Kushner. Both Ivanka Trump and Kushner were a big part of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential election campaign, and Ivanka served as a senior adviser during the Trump administration.
However, Donald Trump walked away without greeting his grandson who had started to walk towards him. In the clip, the 10-year-old child appeared sad after his grandfather moved away. Ivanka Trump’s smile also fell into a scowl before she leaned down toward her son.
The clip was shared by Ron Filipkowski, who claimed that the clip was evidence of Trump’s narcissistic behavior and how fake he was when he claimed to be a devoted and loving parent and grandparent. He added that he could see why his daughter had been so annoyed.
Trump’s campaign communications director, Steven Cheung, responded to the post in a statement to Page Six. He referred to the critic as a “basement dwelling internet troll” and accused him of making up a “fantasy story” about Trump.
