(ConservativeHub.com) – Some of the panelists in a CNN panel started laughing in reaction to the comments made by former president Donald Trump after the Supreme Court heard the oral arguments in the case relating to whether or not Trump should be disqualified from his party’s primary ballot in Colorado.
According to a Fox News report, Trump was talking about the hearing from his home in Mar-a-Lago Florida along with his performance in the GOP primary polls. However, CNN’s Jake Tapper cut away from the comments as Trump started to slam the Biden administration.
After cutting away, Tapper said that he thought this was the most “legal analysis” that they would manage to get from former President Trump. Meanwhile, panelist George Conway was reportedly laughing out loud.
According to the Fox News report, Tapper said on the panel that it was “odd” because this was an opportunity for Trump, but that the former President did not want to make statements about the Supreme Court and instead wanted to focus his speech on his own self. He added that all he wanted was to talk about what was on his mind.
Jamie Gangel, a special correspondent for CNN, also found the comments made by Trump funny and said that apparently, no one had told Trump that this situation was actually good for him. She said that if Trump had taken the time to listen to some of the analysis after the hearing, he would know that it appeared he was “in good shape.”
