(ConservativeHub.com) – On Tuesday, March 26, Fox News reported that a call by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) revealed that the Democrats appear to be trying to save the re-election campaign of President Joe Biden amid the threat of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running as an independent candidate.

The call happened right after Kennedy’s announcement that his choice of running mate was tech entrepreneur Nicola Shanahan. He made this announcement during an Oakland, California Rally.

The call with the DNC included a number of prominent Democrats, including Michan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow, Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., and Pennsylvania Lieutenant Gov. Austin Davis, all of whom have previously expressed concerns about the possibility of Kennedy harming Biden’s reelection attempts.

During the call, Davis argued that they were doing everything possible to ensure that Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign is successful. He also stressed the importance of taking every “obstacle” seriously, including Kennedy.

This point was one that McMorrow agreed with, pointing out that she needed to be a part of the conversation in order to share how horrible Kennedy’s campaign was in Michigan. She added that his being in the presidential race means that there is an increased possibility that former president Donald Trump could win. At one point during the call, she said she believes Trump will end up back in office if people don’t see the real Kennedy, which is “Trump with a Kennedy name slapped on him.”

Garcia presented Kennedy during the call as “a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist.” This is a reference to many of Kennedy’s controversial opinions. He also claimed that Shanahan had an “anti-health agenda” despite Kennedy arguing the opposite during his presentation of his running mate.
