(ConservativeHub.com) – Former President Donald Trump gave a full speech after his win in the Iowa caucuses. Afterward, he claimed in different remarks that both CNN and NBC needed to be removed from the air for not airing it.

While speaking in front of a crowd in New Hampshire, Trump said on January 15 that he had been discussing how corrupt the press was, and said that CNN and NBC had refused to show Trump’s victory speech in Iowa. He claimed that they were “crooked” and “dishonest” and that their licenses, or whatever permission they had to be on the air, needed to be revoked.

MSNBC did not air Trump’s remarks at all, according to a report from The Hill.

Leading pundit Rachel Maddow argued on MSNBC that the reason why many news organizations had stopped giving Trump an unfiltered live platform anymore was not because they were spiteful. She said that this was a hard decision and that there was a price organizations had to pay for “broadcasting untrue things.” She called it a “fundamental truth” of the business.

CNN did show some, but not all, of Trump’s remarks, as did some other news outlets. However, MSNBC did not appear to do the same. According to The Hill, Trump has previously threatened to launch an investigation into Comcast, the network’s parent company, even indicating it may be guilty of committing treason. For years, he has also blasted CNN for their coverage of him, and has claimed that the network was “fake news.”
