(ConservativeHub.com) – According to recent reports, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley recently stated she wasn’t interested in becoming the vice president. This was before Iowa primary voting on January 15.

During an interview on “Face the Nation,” CBS News reporter Tony Dokoupil asked Haley for her thoughts on the voters who claimed that they would prefer to see her serving as the U.S. vice president instead of the president. In response, Haley declared that she did not play “second” and that she would not begin doing so now. She added that she had no interest in being the vice president and that she was running to win the White House. She expressed confidence in her ability to do so.

Dokoupil continued, asking what Haley would tell voters who supported former President Donald Trump and wanted to see her become the vice president.

Haley responded by saying that if people wanted to have another four years of “chaos,” that’s what they would end up with. She said that the worrying thing is that people could look at the hypothetical match-up polls and see that Trump and Biden were about even. She said that this was going to be a “nail-biter of an election” and that she didn’t like the idea of having President Kamala Harris.

Haley has been blasted by many of her Republican rivals who have claimed that she would accept to become Trump’s running mate in 2024. However, Haley has maintained that she is not interested in being vice president.
